The Carver Legacy Continues

Carver is a Dutch automotive innovation that first captured global attention with its revolutionary tilting three-wheeler, blending the dynamics of a motorcycle with the comfort and safety of a car.

The concept was developed by Dutch engineer Chris van den Brink, co-founder of Carver Europe in the late 1990s. His vision was to create a narrow, agile vehicle that could lean into corners like a motorcycle—an idea brought to life in the iconic Carver One, launched in the early 2000s.

While the original Carver project gained a cult following, financial and production challenges meant that large-scale commercial success proved elusive. From Vision to Electric Innovation In recent years, Carver was reborn in an electric version, combining its unique tilting technology with modern EV performance.

This transition was supported by a new generation of partners who shared the original dream—and the technical knowledge to make it real. One of these key partners was LYNX ApS, a Danish company with strong roots in sustainable innovation and EV development. LYNX played a central role in the development of the first electric Carver, collaborating directly with Chris van den Brink and his engineering team.

LYNX ApS – Driving the Future of Carver In 2024, LYNX ApS acquired the rights to produce the Carver, including patents and IP, through a co-ownership in the Belgian firm KERV Automotive, which holds the legal and technical legacy of Carver following the Dutch company’s bankruptcy.

LYNX is now fully responsible for the revival and future production of the Carver. A relaunch is planned for Spring 2026, with full support for parts, service, and accessories for existing Carver vehicles already in operation across Europe.

With manufacturing partnerships being explored across Asia and Europe, and with an eye toward sustainable mobility, the new Carver will not only honor the past—it will define the future of urban transport.

Carver R
The Carver is a 100% electric vehicle that can carve through traffic. Unlike four-wheeled vehicles the Carver is narrow at just 98cm so has the ability to travel through congestion. Unlike a motorcycle the Carver has three wheels for added stability, the driver and passenger both have seatbelts and they're protected by a steel frame. The Carver maintains the fun of a motorcycle by being able to lean into corners, using the patented Dynamic Vehicle Control (DVC) system, and offering all weather protection. In hot and sunny weather the roof is fully convertible and the front windows can slide open or can also be removed enhancing its sporty nature.
Carver S+
The Carver S+ is a 100% electric vehicle designed to cut through urban congestion with ease. Unlike traditional four-wheeled vehicles, its slim 98cm width allows it to navigate tight traffic effortlessly. With three wheels and a robust steel frame, it offers the stability and safety of a car—complete with seatbelts for both driver and passenger. What sets the Carver S+ apart is its patented Dynamic Vehicle Control (DVC) system, which allows the vehicle to lean into corners like a motorcycle, delivering a thrilling yet secure ride. Rain or shine, the Carver S+ keeps you protected with its enclosed cabin. And when the sun is out, the convertible roof and removable sliding windows transform it into an open-air driving experience, amplifying its sporty character.
